Student Threat Update

Brookings-Harbor High School families and parents,

On Saturday, we sent a message that the Brookings Police were investigating reports of a threat made against students at our high school. The police and administration have concluded their investigations and determined that there is no indication that there was a plan or credible danger to students or staff at BHHS. Families of students who were directly threatened in this incident have already been contacted. 

We are sharing this information to let the BHHS community know that the incident has been addressed. It is also important to know that threats of violence are subject to student discipline up to and including expulsion.

Safety is our utmost priority and reporting any concerns is essential to keeping our schools safe. At any time, if you have information or a concern, please contact administration or the Police.
