My name is Mrs. Shanon and I am honored to introduce myself as your student’s online educator.  I look forward to the educational journey we will take together this year.

Orientation Meeting

I will be holding virtual student orientation meetings on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH (Updated date) to review our schedule, the BHOA handbook and what to expect. Parents are welcome to attend. BHOA information can be located on our district website. Please take a look at it before our meeting, just in case you have any questions.   If you are unable to attend your designated virtual session below, please let me know.

Kindergarten-5th grade: 9:30 am to 10:00 am

6th -12th grade: 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm

Chromebook Distribution

If your student needs a school Chromebook, they are available for pick-up on Tuesday, September 5th  from 10:00 am to 12:00 and from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm. 

If you have a Chromebook from last year, please bring it in and our Tech Department will take it to clean it so I can issue you a fresh new one.

 Since I am now located at the middle school, you can drive through the round Azalea Middle School parking lot and I’ll have them right at the front door for you.  I will also be available on Wednesday at your convenience.  Please call and make an appointment for that day..  Also, let me know if you need a hotspot.

If you cannot make these times, please email me to make other arrangements.

Nutritional Program

The district’s nutritional program is accessible to our online community, so let me know if you are interested. Breakfast and lunch are free for all enrolled students. 

Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. If you believe your student has been placed in the wrong program, please reach out to your student’s school counselor to make changes.
