There was an incident in the BHHS parking lot after school today that may have involved drugs. Brookings Police Department and BHHS Admin were involved. Force was used by police as a result of the person in question resisting detainment and interfering with the investigatory process. In consideration of recent events, we wanted to assure the community that no weapons were involved. Brookings Police Department and BHHS admin responded calmly and professionally throughout the process.
