Superintendent's Update (Aug. 31, 2020): What's new in health and safety and instruction for Fall 2020

We are looking forward to getting our schools reopened this school year. We have incorporated a wide range of measures to keep all students and staff healthy and safe. While the start of this school year will look different, our focus is to ensure that school continues to be a positive, safe, friendly, and welcoming place for all students. Update on state and county metrics for school reopening

Under a special exemption that uses a different set of metrics that must be met for grades Kindergarten through 3rd Grade, Curry County remains on track for BHSD to begin the year with a hybrid of in-person half days and distance learning for Grades K-3, with the first classroom day on Friday, Sept. 11
