Gold Beach Lumber Yard would like to introduce the Perfect Attendance Spells Success (P.A.S.S.) Program to encourage and reward students for perfect attendance. Gold Beach Lumber Yard will reward each student in the 5th grade, who maintains perfect attendance through the entire 2026-2027 school year, with a new bicycle and helmet at the end of the year.
Perfect attendance guidelines to earn a bicycle and helmet include:
Minimum enrollment of 3 quarters.
Full attendance for all quarters enrolled in school.
No more than 5 days absent.

Gates open at 6 p.m. and kickoff is 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at Elmer Bankus Field. Local sponsors will be on the concourse with giveaways for fans from both towns.

Kalmiopsis Elementary School is preparing to welcome students and families for the 2026-27 school year. Families are encouraged to review the following registration information and important dates.

Families should still plan to send students with their own backpacks, water bottles, lunch boxes, and – in some cases – binders.
