Update on status of in-person classes

According to the latest school metrics data released Monday by the Oregon Department of Education and the Oregon Health Authority, Curry County is in the “orange zone” of risk. We regret that this means that we will not be able to welcome grade 7 and grade 10 back on-site this Thursday as previously planned.

Notification of 3 new COVID-19 cases in BHSD students and staff

Reminder: As announced over the Thanksgiving break, face-to-face instruction will shift back to online teaching beginning today Monday, November 30th. This is because the increased number of COVID cases in the community directly impacts our operations. Please do not report to the building today, but do follow your class schedule and login into your classes virtually.

Notification of new confirmed COVID-19 Case in BHSD elementary

K-School to shift to distance learning only Nov. 30-Dec. 4 due to staffing shortage
On-track to bring back 7th and 10th graders on Thursday, Dec. 3, as planned
Azalea and BHHS will operate as normal next week with 6th and 9th on-site adding 7th and 10th on Thursday.  Buses will be running for AMS and BHHS students during the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 4.

November Regular School Board Meeting

In-person in the Azalea Middle School gymnasium with COVID precautions such as face coverings and physical distancing. The meeting will also be livestreamed with video posted afterward to the BHSD website.
